In what could be one of the more unusual pairings in recent memory, Fall Out Boy is planning to enlist the aid of 90s R&B superstar Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds to produce the follow up to Under the Cork Tree. The album has, to date, sold more than a million copies.
The band has already written much of the album, and became a fan of the producer due to his work on the soundtrack to pop music satire, Josie and the Pussycats though Edmonds gained much of his fame from work with Toni Braxton, TLC and Boyz II Men.
The band is currently headlining the sold out Nintendo Fusion Tour and are joined by The Starting Line, Motion City Soundtrack, Boys Night Out and Panic! At the Disco. The band will head to Europe in January.
