Bayside have been announced as the main support act for the upcoming Smoking Popes reunion tour. The band suffered a huge setback earlier this year, with the death of their drummer John "Beatz" Holohan. The band soldiered on, playing acoustic sets to finish out the duration of the Never Sleep Again tour. They'll be doing a headlining tour of their own prior to the Popes dates, however those dates have not been announced.

The Smoking Popes announced their reunion plans shortly after playing the Flower15 show. The band split in 1999 after releasing Born to Quit, Get Fired and their second Capitol release, Destination Failure.
