Hopeless act Kaddisfly posted a holiday update outlining their plans for a sophomore full length titled Set Sail the Prairie. The band released Buy Our Intention; We'll Buy You A Unicorn earlier this year and had this to say:
We are all having family time at the moment, but in the next week we will "officially" begin the writing process for Set Sail the Prairie. We have a rough outline of the whole release, the track-list, the album art (which you haven't seen), and the songs themselves. The record is going to be based around one question: How fast can Gene Wilder drink a two-liter of cola? We have a pretty good idea of who will be engineering and helping to produce the record, and the location will be Oregon. We will begin recording March 1st, and will be working through the end of April.
The group recently suffered the theft of their trailer which forced the cancellation of their tours with Look What I Did and Near Miss. The new full length is expected sometime in 2006.
