Discharge in 2006: new EP, DVD and more dates

Discharge have announced some dates and some release plans for the year. The band will be entering the studio this month to record three new tracks for an EP which will be packaged with a bonus DVD as well as being issued on vinyl.

For now, the tracks are looking to be "They Lie You Die", "Blood of the Innocent", "The World Fights Back." They're aiming to have the disc completed before they begin their upcoming tour in March and it will be released on Thunk Records.

Following the tour, the band will also release a retrospective DVD, also to be issued by Thunk and details are expected soon. The long-running hardcore punk act reissued Why? in 2003 and has also produced a three disc career spanning box set in 2004.

The band has announced scattered dates in the UK from March through June and more are expected.
