Plans for the sixth annual Joey Ramone Birthday Bash have been partially unveiled. Taking place on May 19th, the party generally includes screenings of rare and exclusive videos of Joey playing with the Ramones as well as performances by up-and-coming bands and well established heavyweights.

Currently, the lineup for the show has not been announced. Leading up to the party, plans are being made for a photography exhibition and sale.

The Bash started in 2001, one month after Joey passed away following a seven-year battle with lymphoma. The Bash is organized as a promise to Joey by his mother and brother, with proceeds going to the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
