Raised Fist posts first song from “Sound of the Republic”; upcoming dates

Raised Fist has released the first track from the long-awaited follow up to Dedication.

The album is titled Sound of the Republic, and the song, "You Ignore Them All" is streaming from their myspace profile.

The band worked with producer Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Meshuggah), and the album is expected April 7th in Italy, April 12th in Sweden and the rest of Europe on April 10th. A North american release is due at the end of May.

The album will be the band's first new release since 2002. In the intervening years the band released one track, "Time Will Let You Go, All Alone And Break," for the Heart Attack Vol.1 compilation. The track was a bit of a departure for the group, and was described as ""some industrial hardcore mayhem."

Shortly after the release, the band will be touring throughout Europe.
