More information has come out concerning the recent bomb scare surrounding the placement of a This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb sticker on an Ohio University student's bike. Patrick L Hanlin was charged last Friday with "inducing panic."

Dean Terry Hogan had been quoted as being supportive of the actions taken, but has since clarified his statement. In emails between Punknews.org and the Dean, he clarified that his "comment was made Thursday (before any charges had been filed; the charge was filed Friday) and was in response to a question about whether I thought the police had acted reasonably in being concerned about the bike," and not the filing of charges. He also has informed us that the charges have been dropped in an agreement between the student and the Athens police department.
