Prosthetic Records has signed Year of Desolation. The band describes themselves as "melodic thrash, with absolutely zero metalcore influence."
The band originally formed in 2001 and has released one full-length and one EP. Recording for the band's Prosthetic debut will take place July 9 - 27 with seasoned producer Jamie King (Through The Eyes of The Dead, Between The Buried And Me) at the Basement Studios. The self-titled record will subsequently be released through Prosthetic in early 2007.

Prior to recording, the band will be touring with The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza.
