Robotic Empire has signed Matamoros. The band includes members of Anodyne, Hot Cross, Lickgoldensky and Orchid and is described as:

Try to picture the wall-of-noise created by Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine, the colliding guitars of Unwound and Rodan, all mixed with the underlying intensity of Born Against and Neurosis.

Matamoros will be entering Brooklyn, New York-based Translator Audio Studio later this month to being work on their debut, with plans set for a summer release.
