Dead Body Records, which is partially owned by Geoff Kresge of the Horrorpops, will be releasing the debut album from Mr. Cliff Greenwood (Union of the Dead, Loose Change, Take the Wall). The artist is described as "a little bit country and a little bit punk" and sings "about life in the San Francisco east bay, camaraderie, the evils of whiskey, love, and death."
The album, Musical Heritage will be released on April 4th and features appearances by Matt McKenzie (Action Design, ex-Tsunami Bomb) and Miles Peck (The Sore Thumbs, The Low Downs), with production/editing assistance from Paul Miner and Kresge. You can preview tracks at Greenwood's Myspace.
Mr. Greenwood has some shows set up for the month of April, including an album release show at Thee Parkside in San Francisco with the Cliftons.
