Abacus act Swarm of the Lotus has posted their first update in some time. The band has added Greg Howell (ex-Cardea) on second guitar and Graham Millner (ex-Everything Falls Together) on bass.

With the new lineup set, the band has started to outline plans for the rest of the year. They had this to say:

We are going to take the next couple of months to have a set come together, which will include brand new material, and get everything honed to perfection and ready to play live. Our tentative plan for the rest of the year as we are seeing it now would be to start playing out locally again on some cool shows, one or two weekend warrior type of tours through the summer, leading up to a 2-week tour or so in the Fall and then taking the last part of the year to write material for a new realease (hopefully) next year sometime.

The band released The Sirens of Silence last year.
