Vancouver, B.C.-based hardcore band Blue Monday has called it a day. They had this to say:

So yeah, we're breaking up. I'm sure somebody will make a more in-depth post about this later. But for now, here you go.

Following this tour we will be playing Seattle one more time the day before the last Champion show, followed by a last show in Vancouver probably in September which will feature bands you love and none that you don't.

The band formed in 2001 and released What's Done Is Done in 2003 and Rewritten in 2005. Their final release will be a forthcoming split with Go It Alone, due May 16th on Rivalry.
