John J. Miller has written an "Encore" to his piece in the National Review listing the "Top 50 Conservative Rock Songs". Responding to feedback from readers, he has named "conservative songs" 51 through 101. This round of picks features many songs that Punknews.org readers may recognize, including the Dead Kennedys' "Holiday In Cambodia," Iron Maiden's "Aces High," Sublime's "Date Rape," Suicidal Tendencies' "Give It A Revolution," Yellowcard's "Life of a Salesman," The Modern Lovers' "Old World," Slayer's "Silent Scream" and Elvis Costello's "The Other Side of Summer."
Miller's first article drew fire from Pete Townsend, who penned the Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again" which filled the number one spot on the list, as well as the Proclaimers, whose "Everybody's a Victim" was also featured.
