The Mopes have announced a one-off show set at The Beat Kitchen on Friday June 16 at 2100 W. Belmont, Chicago IL. The 18+ show is set to begin at 10pm, and will be a rare appearance from the band which includes Dan Vapid, B-Face, Dan Lumley and John Jughead, all veterans of acts including Squirtgun, Screeching Weasel, the Riverdales, the Queers, the Methadones and more.

Other than that, the band is planning one other show, at the upcoming Insubordination Records 10th anniversary festival.

The band released three discs - two full lengths and an EP - between 1998 and 1999 and are described as " poppy punk rock, catchy instrumentals, and goofy 60's style stuff "
