Chris McCaughan, co-vocalist of the Lawrence Arms has let Punknews.org know about some of his upcoming projects. First, Chris will be performing a benefit show at SouthUnion Arts in Chicago on Friday June 23rd. Also performing that night will be Heligoats (with Chris from Troubled Hubble), Chris McFarland with proceeds to support South Union Arts. Chris is promising a number of his solo tracks, as well as some Lawrence Arms songs.

McCaughan has also begun work on his debut LP and he is recording at Atlas in June. The disc is tentatively scheduled for release on Red Scare; the label is also the home of his bandmates side project, The Falcon.

McCaughan's full-time band The Lawrence Arms recently released Oh! Calcutta!.
