Mental Records has announced the signing of Automatic Seven. The band, which formed in 1993, previously released albums on both BYO and Vagrant including 2002's acclaimed Beggars Life which drew comparisons to both Jawbreaker and Social Distortion.

The band has regrouped after a five year hiatus and is planning to release a new album, tentatively titled At Funeral Speed.
