R5 Productions have announced that the remainder of Pointless Fest has been cancelled and there are currently no plans to reschedule or move the shows. The site had this to say:

The Actions Of 20-30 Individuals Have Ruined The Festival For Everyone. Mad ? Bummed ? So Are We. Take This Time To Think About What YOU Can Do In The Future To Eliminate This Problem In Philadelphia (a very small minority dictated and created problems for YOU and YOUR scene)

There is no word yet on ticket refund information, as the company is still dealing with the issue. The site also stated that the fest will never be in downtown Philadelphia again and clarified that all non- Pointless Fest related events from the company will still happen.

UPDATE: West Philly All Star Oi Coverband, World Burns to Death, Kylesa, No Hope for the Kids and three more bands to be announced (Severed Head of State?) will be playing Milcreek Tavern (42nd and Chester in West Philadelphia) tonight at 9 pm. The show is 21+ and is $12 or free with a Pointless Fest ticket from Saturday, Sunday or a 4 day pass. Stay tuned to R5Productions.com for more information.
