BEDlight For BlueEYES are currently in Long Island, NY writing, and demoing new songs for their second album to be released next year. The band already has five new songs ready and are writing a new song every day. Guitarist Derek Weber has noted that the album will be much more rock n roll:

We are inspired by bands like Queen, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, the Scorpions, and Boston, and we want to bring back that arena-rock feeling with a new twist. Music today is so watered down, and we want to break through with innovation, instead of jumping on the bandwagon.

The band recently released an EP entitled Waste My Time exclusively as a digital release on iTunes.
