Even though their latest full length, Beyond Virtue, Beyond Vice was only released last month, Vaux has already begun work on the follow up. The album was previously scheduled for release on Atlantic Records and was stuck in limbo since band split with the label in October of 2005.
They had this to say:
We're excited to be writing some new material. We've got a good start on a few different songs and we're all very happy with them. It's been two years since we recorded 'Beyond Virtue, Beyond Vice'. the b-sides were recorded a few months after that. So, needless to say, we looking forward to laying down some new tracks. If all works out you'll have new Vaux music soon.
The album is the follow up to the band's debut, There Must Be Some Way To Stop Them on Volcom. That album was followed by the Plague Music EP, released on Equal Vision.
