With plans to be hitting the road later this month with Death Cab for Cutie, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists are currently in the studio working on their debut for Touch and Go Records.

Ted had this to say about the record:

Sorry I've been incommunicado, but we've been on the road for most of the summer, and then immediately went into the studio this past weekend to make that damned new record. I'm happy to report that I'm, personally, psyched. It's punk. I'l get some real updates going w/photos and crap soon.

The album will be his first since 2004's Shake The Sheets, released on the ill-fated Lookout! Records.
