Ben Harper, formerly of Yellowcard and currently running Takeover Records, has gone from touring guitarist to full-fledged member of Amber Pacific.

The Hopeless pop-punk act made the announcement today:

After going about a year without a formal replacement for our old guitarist, we are proud to formally announce Ben Harper […] is now officially a member of Amber Pacific. He will now be a permanent fixture on the road, and will also be recording our new album with us up here in Seattle. We couldn't be more excited to have him in the band.

The band continues to support their debut full length, The Possibility And The Promise.
