Ryan's Hope have been forced to cancel their planned tour with Jump Start Records band Giving Chase due to personal financial problems. Frontman Terry Morrow posted an apology and explanation, stating:
We've encountered some very serious personal financial trouble within the band, which is the reason we unfortunately cannot travel at the moment. We are still going to be playing the Joliet/Chicago area shows that we had booked, but won't be able to hit the road until these problems are cleared up. We've spent the last year touring as much as possible and we've met some incredible people on the way. To each of those people across the country, we assure you that we will return, and we can't wait to see you!
The band recently launched a MySpace page chronicling their early recordings, including self-released material like the 2002's Weighing What Matters. They also recently appeared on the new Thick Records compilation Hair - Chicago Punk Cuts alongside the Killing Tree, the Methadones and the Bomb among others. Ryan's Hope is currently supporting their Punknews Records debut Apocalypse in Increments.
Due to extreme circumstances, ryanâs hope has been forced to cancel all but a few of our upcoming shows, including the planned east coast tour with giving chase, to whom we offer our most sincere apologies.

We are going to spend the coming months working very hard, raising money and working our jobs to remedy our unfortunate situation, so that we can get back out in support of our album and our label as soon as possible.
Our apologies to anyone we have inconvenienced in these events, and our sincere thanks to everyone who stuck their neck out and helped us out with these shows.
We are truly disappointed to have to make this decision, but I'm afraid our options are limited.
In the coming months, we're going to be very active in regrouping from this situation, and I assure you weâre going to make it through this, and come back stronger than ever.
Thanks for your support. Weâll see you soon.
