Detroit garage rock trio SSM are on the road this week supporting their new self-titled Alive Records debut album. The dates include an appearance at the Arthur Nights festival with Comets On Fire.
The band has a new EP set for release this month. The set features a remix of the song "Put Me In" from their debut and five previously unreleased songs. Black Keys member Dan Auerbach engineered three tracks on the record, with the remainder done by Chris Koltay. The EP also features a cover of Lyman Woodard's "Belle Isle Daze," which suitably features a guest appearance by the legendary Detroit organist.
