: New York punk revivalists The Strokes have recently released their debut album in the US, about a week after the UK release. What is interesting (and somewhat predictable), is that New York City Cops, one of the best songs on the album, has been cut, in light of the recent tragedy, and replaced with a new song, When it started. While this kinda sucks for US buyers, losing one of the best songs, I guess it's kinda understandable, as lines like "New York city cops, they aint too smart"…. could easily offend some… Still, get an import copy if you can, it's an awesome track.
