Winnipeg's own The Weakerthans were recently nominated for 4 Prairie Music Awards [a Canadian regional award], and the results are in: 3 of the 4 went to them! The band received top honors in the categories of Best Album Design, Best Rock Video, and Best Independent Album, being robbed of the Best Rock Album award.
