Australia seems to be bustling with activity nowadays. Some news from Oz:

Anonymous writes the following about the Hives: "Dont forget the hives are playing LIVID festival in Australia this coming saturday (check www.livid.com.au to see more) Other "punk" bands include Good Charlotte, The Ataris, Nerf Herder, H20, Rollins Band, Last Gays of April (international acts) Blowhard, Area 7, 28 Days, One Dollar Short (Local bands) Also, the night before (for those like me who don't want to pay $83 for only a handful of decent bands) the HIVES will being their first Autsralian show upstairs at the new venue at the Arena. "

And finally, Bomber contributes the following bit of bad news: "From www.bombshellzine.com: The Ataris have had to pull the plug on their Australian tour which included Livid. Kris Roe has to undergo surgery for appendicitis making it impossible for them to tour. More info soon regarding ticket refunds and replacement for them on Livid."
