In the third split between a band and the label in the past few months, recent Maverick signing Bottom Line have parted ways with the label. The previous two defections were City Sleeps and Goldfinger. The label was recently folded into Warner music.

The band have posted some new music and are promising "even more new songs" in the coming weeks. You can check out some tracks from their cancelled Maverick debut on their myspace page.
