The Black Atlantic, which includes former Shai Hulud and current Architect vocalist, Geert van der Velde, has wrapped up recording their first EP titled Send This Home.

Three of the 5 tracks can be previewed online and the band is getting ready to start playing live with a new line-up. Co-founder and drummer of the band, Menno Vos, decided to part ways with the band on very amicable terms. Marcel Wolthof is taking his place. Also, Sander Bos, has decided to fill the spot of longtime 'fill in' pianist Rienk Bakker. The band is currently at home rehearsing to start playing out in January and writing new material for a full length album to be recorded next year.
