Shook Ones have posted a cornucopia of news via MySpace.

First, the band announced that have a new drummer, Jimmy, formerly from the band No Roses.

The band also announced that they'll hit the studio January 19th to record three songs for a split with Japanese pop-punk act Easel. The split will be released through Alliance Trax in Japan and will coincide with their Japanese tour in April

On the subject on touring, the band will head out to California in February to play a weekend of shows with Lifetime. After the weekend in February and Japanese tour in April, the band will begin touring season and note, "If you live in North America and we've never played your town, keep your eyes pealed."

The band released Facetious Folly Feat last year.
