Jailhouse! Records has announced some upcoming releases and charity events. First, the Money, Cars, and Girls, Cystic Fibrosis Benefit compilation now has a release date of April 17th. The track lineup includes the Unabombers, Skylab Hoax, Radio Backup, The Queers, The Underhills, California Redemption, Brodies Revenge, Modern Day 84, Bankrupt, Fast Food, Teenage Rehab, Our Time and more. 100% of all proceeds will be going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Also being released on April 17th will be the split record featuring Florida hardcore group The New Threat vs. New Jersey's punk band Our Time.
Finally, the Queers Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Benefit Auction will be held on March 4th, 5th and 6th and may stretch longer if need be. This is a charity event and is featuring 13 rare tour posters from around the globe ranging from Mexico, Brazil, Europe and U.S spanning 1998-2006 The auction will also be featuring 34 albums; vinyl and CD, ranging from extremely rare Too Dumb Too Quit 7" original pressing, to more easily available items like Beyond the Valley of… and Punk Rock Confidential. All Items are personally handsigned and authorized by Joe Queer, and 100% of proceeds will also be going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Jailhouse! Records/Distro head Dave Jailhouse! put together the auction/charity compilation to raise awareness about Cystic Firbosis in honor of his fiance Melanie, who lives with the condition. No information has been provided as to how bidding will take place, but the label has created a page on their website about the auction. You can check it out here.
