Hot on the heels of Converge, Green Day and Fugazi, Henry Rollins decided to throw his hat into the DVD ring, too. From Billboard.com:
"Punk icon Henry Rollins will make his first foray into live video Nov. 18, when Pioneer Entertainment releases the full-length comedy/spoken-word performance "Up for It" on VHS and DVD. "Up for It" features Rollins in a 90-minute performance filmed May 30 at London's Astoria Theatre. The DVD version will also include a half-hour interview, a documentary on the making of "Nice" (Sanctuary) -- Rollins' latest album with his Rollins Band -- and the music video for "Your Number Is One," the first single from the album."
All I have to say is I think I need to ask for a DVD player for Christmas, cause there's a whole slew of these things coming out that sound pretty damn cool.
