Not content with sending Boston authorities into a tizzy of fear and blame-making, the people behind the popular show Aqua Teen Hunger Force have put together a pretty interesting soundtrack for their upcoming film, Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie.

For the soundtrack, the organizers have enlisted The Hold Steady, Andrew WK, Mastodon, Unearth as well as Killer Mike, Schooly D.Nine Pound Hammer and more.

Like the Dangerdoom project, the disc will feature music interspersed with skits and sound bites from the movie. All tracks are previously unreleased material, with exception of the Hold Steady's "Girls Like Status." The animated movie is the first film release from Adult Swim, Cartoon Network's late night programming block, and is set to premiere April 13 via First Look Pictures.

The soundtrack is due out April 10, 2007.

Update: On a related note, The Venture Bros. were today picked up for a third season. Perhaps Dr.Girlfriend's secret will be revealed after all.
