After more than a decade together, Southern California's Stavesacre has called it a day. The band made the announcement earlier this week:
The fact of the matter is, Stavesacre as we know it, is done. There is no tragic "Behind the Music" story. We all love each other, and you, as much as we ever have. We just feel that after an incredible 11 year run, it is time to close this particular chapter in our rock and roll journey.
Most recently, the group released How to Live With a Curse, their solo record for Abacus. The band previously released three studio albums on Tooth & Nail Records and was signed to Nitro Records for 2002's -Stavz'a'ker. The band also self-released a live DVD of a show recorded in Dallas, Texas, in 2002.
