Sacramento's Groovie Ghoulies have set a May 15th release date for their upcoming full length 99 Lives. The Green Door Recording Co. will be handling the release. The band reminded fans "These CDs are the kind you want to buy, not burn, with nice color booklets, and photos, and lyrics and wonderful things like that that make record collecting FUN!" The release follows up 2005's Chuck Berry tribute Berry'd Alive.

The band's roots / country alter ego the Haints have a release in the wings as well, set for an April 17th release.
