While we wait for the forthcoming new record from the Offspring, bluegrass act Cornbread Red has assembled a collection of Offspring tracks reinterpreted ala bluegrass.
The group, which previously tackled material from Van Halen, Linkin Park, Franz Ferdinand and Green Day, recorded 11 Offspring favorites for the disc, which is due out on April 24, 2007 from CMH Records. Tracks covered include "All I Want," " Self Esteem," "The Kids Aren't Alright" and others.
Sadly, despite this great set up, we were unable to find any music samples online, but some of their recordings of Green Day and Van Halen can be streamed from Rhapsody provided you satisfy their residency requirements.
