Trophy Scars
by Streams

As a newly christened staff reviewer over three years ago I loudly sung the praises of Trophy Scars' self-released EP, Hospital Music for the Aesthetics of Language.

To this day it still stands as my favorite release of the band's ever-expanding catalog (which now consists of a pair of full-lengths and EPs apiece, with another full-length currently in the writing stage). Released in limited quantities, it'll now see a well-deserved reissue courtesy of Reap What You Sew Records, with all-new artwork in tow.

The EP is full of cathartic, explosive, dynamic, ambitious and scathing post-hardcore (seriously, all at once), and we're now streaming the whole deal on the band's Punknews.org profile page.
