I thought this was interesting… The Boston Globe has mentioned the Dropkick Murphys / Face to Face split in recently, specificly the Dropkick song "Darcy's Revenge." The song features Letters to Cleo singer Kay Hanley in a duet with Ken Casey. The song is a ballad reminiscent of the Pogues' "Fairytale of New York" (which was between Shane MacGowan and the late Kirsty MacColl). "It's kind of like an argument," Hanley commented "Ken's singing about Darcy, who was a bartender and took advantage of this underage patron of this bar, and turned him into a lousy drunk." Casey added, "It's maybe a little rowdier. Its dynamic was mostly me and Kay going back and forth. Al (Barr) plays the part of the unruly drunk who keeps butting in."
