Guitarist Chckn of Long–running D.I. has been disagnosed with throat cancer. His wife made the announcement:

He was diagnosed with throat cancer last month. we are putting together a benefit called 'Fuck The Whales, Save a Chckn' at the Galaxy Theatre that will be on Thursday February 21st. if you grew up on DI like most punks your attendance and support would greatly be appreciated.
