"On Friday, March 8th, the Rollins Band, The Original Sinners [Exene Cervenka's band], and Wayne Kramer of the MC5 will be playing a benefit show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. The purpose of this show is to raise money and awareness for the West Memphis Three. The West Memphis Three is a group of young men who were unjustly tried and convicted of the murders of three young boys in West Memphis, Arkansas in 1993. Right now they are trying to win a new trial, so two of the men can be released and one of them, Damien Echols, can be spared the death penalty.
