"I just got back from the Suicide Machines/Sick Of It All show at Krome in South Amboy, NJ. I talked with their guitar player, Dan after the show and he said that they are still technically on Hollywood Records, but probably won't be for very long. We also talked about all the shit they've been getting because of their name, song titles, etc. He said he loves this country just as much as anyone else and they are just a punk band, and he doesnt give a shit if their label thinks their name sounds too much like Suicide Bomber."
In other major label news, the Hippos are officially no longer on Interscope, if you visit Interscope's webpage there is no mention of them [just like there is no mention of the Suicide Machines on Hollywood's webpage]. So whether the band is "officially" broken up or not, they are not on Interscope.
