The previously reported film Let it Be featuring Black Lips as fictional group The Renegades has posted a trailer on the film's website. The movie plans to take a look at a punk–pop group coming up in the mid–80s while examining the D.I.Y. ethics and attitude presented, according to the website.

Frontman from the Black Lips previously announced a new project with the frontman from Deerhunter. The group also recently released a digital live EP.
