Though the lineup is yet to be confirmed, the organizers behind Riot Fest have announced plans to host the event the weekend of October 10th to 12th.

They explained:

Yes, it's a month earlier than in year's past. Why? November is cold as shit in Chicago. The good thing, for all of you youngins' and college folk, the day after Riot Fest is Columbus Day, so you'll have off from school to recover fully.

The 2007 edition of the fest included Naked Raygun, Bad Brains, Stiff Little Fingers, 7Seconds, Dillinger Four and many others.
