Straight from the band's website: Guitarist Jade Puget announces that a new AFI record, still untitled to the general public, will be released this coming August which will no doubt launch a fall tour (knowing how these boys love their fall season). This is different than what everyone was told originally which was that the new record wouldn't be released until fall of 2003. This will be the band's first release backed by Dreamworks Records so it should be interesting to see how their sound has progressed/changed with a major label behind it. Here is an exerpt from the letter written by Jade: "Basically, we've been working on the new album and it's coming along marvelously. When August rolls around you'll be using all your other CDs as coasters because you'll only be listening to this one."
