Although Sublime effectively dissolved after the death of vocalist Bradley Nowell in May of 1996, sources are reporting that the surviving members of the band have been working with a new vocalist and are in fact planning to perform at Bamboozle 2009. The festival organizers hinted at such a reunion in a recent "word game" splash page.
Other acts hinted in the scramble include NOFX, Maroon Five, Gorilla Biscuits and Britney Spears. Sublime's self-titled major label full length, Sublime was a huge commercial success thanks to songs like What I Got", "Santeria", "Wrong Way", "Doin' Time", "April 29, 1992 (Miami)" and "Caress Me Down." The record sold five million copies and even received the deluxe treatment in 2006.
