"Every once in a great while I will stumble across a band, usually by accident, who gives me the feeling of being saved by rock n roll. It happened to me recently at a TOSSERS show in Madison, Wisconsin. The opening band took the stage, and just as I was about to head for the exit, THE GC5 plugged in, turned up, and blew me away. Not just another street punk band with mindless, directionless energy, but smarts, hooks, and huge melodies reeled me in. The next thing I knew, I was asking the band to give me the honor of releasing their next record on THICK Records. They agreed, and I feel like the luckiest guy on the planet.
