Ray Davies, frontman for the legendary rock and roll (and some would say proto-punk group) The Kinks, has recently released a new album titled The Kinks Choral Collection. The album is a collection of songs, mainly from the band's early catalog, re-worked as choral arrangements.

Davies, along with the Dessoff Chamber Choir of New York City recently performed these songs live, and the concert can be streamed from NPR's website here.
