G7 bands are touring! The almighty Greg MacPherson heads out on the road with The Weakerthans in mid-August for a string of shows down the east coast of the US. Greg will later tour without the Weakerthans in eastern Canada. Malefaction has reported in from their US tour, saying that their recent show in Chicago was cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. Hiretsukan is touring Canada and the US tour and Propagandhi will be hitting Europe in August, but no dates are confirmed yet. Also, a release date has been set for Warsawpack's "Gross Domestic Product." It will be released on September 11th, 2002 (G7 says: Are we asking for it? Yes. Yes we are.) The band will be playing shows in western Canada in early August as well as the Under the Volcano festival (hosted by Che: Chapter 127's Meegan Riot). Confirmed dates will be posted by next week. Warsawpack's a hip-hop / rock / jazz / whatever fusion band from Hamilton. Think Rage Against The Machine at a Jazz festival… check them out they're a pretty cool listen…
