Billboard is reporting that Rhino Records will be releasing their second series of expanded and remastered Ramones albums on August 20. The four, originally released via Sire will include 1980's "End of the Century," 1981's "Pleasant Dreams," 1983's "Subterranean Jungle," and 1984's "Too Tough To Die." The Phil Spector-produced "End of the Century" includes seven extra songs. This includes "I Want You Around" from the "Rock'n'Roll High School" soundtrack, demos of "Danny Says, " I'm Affected," "Please Don't Leave," "All the Way," and "Do You Remember Rock'n'Roll Radio?," and a radio spot Joey Ramone.
Graham Gouldman produced "Pleasant Dreams" includes an early version of "Touring" (from the 1992's album "Mondo Bizarro") recorded during the "Pleasant Dreams" era, the previously unreleased "I Can't Get You Out of My Mind," an alternate version of "Chop Suey," as well as demos of "Sleeping Troubles," "Kicks To Try," "I'm Not an Answer," and "Stares in This Town."
The Richie Cordell and Glen Kolotkin produced "Subterranean Jungle" includes the tracks "Indian Giver" and "New Girl in Town," demos of "No One To Blame," "Roots of Hatred," "Bumming Along," and "Unhappy Girl," and an acoustic demo of and "My-My Kind of Girl."
"Too Tough to Die," which saw the return of Tommy Ramone as a producer, has 12 extra tracks. Included is a U.K. single version of the Rolling Stones' "Street Fighting Man," the unreleased "Smash You," and previously unreleased versions of three album tracks with Dee Dee Ramone on vocals "Planet Earth 1988," "Danger Zone," and the title song. The songs "Out of Here," "Pass This Way," and demo versions of "Daytime Dilemma (Dangers of Love)," "Endless Vacation," and "No Go" are also included.
