Some of you might remember our Vinyl File column from a few years ago. The column featured upcoming vinyl releases as well as spotlights on bands or labels that were doing interesting things. We're often asked where Vinyl File went. While there may be no good answer for that other than "away," we can say with certainty that it's back now.

Epitaph recently released a number of albums with colors available exclusively through Hot Topic. I guess you can always pay a kid to go in and get them for you. You should be able to find Bouncing Souls' Hopeless Romantic (orange/500), Dropkick Murphys' The Gangâs All Here (red/600), NOFX's Ribbed (blue/650), So Long and Thanks for All the (green/650) and White Trash, Two Heebs and a Bean (yellow /650) and Descendents' Everything Sucks (blue/600).

Top Shelf Records has picked up the US release rights to Grown Ups' More Songs . It's available on four different colors, but I don't know what they are.
None More Black's new record, Icons, was posted for sale over at Fat Wreck Chords yesterday. The color copies are sold out, but you can still get it on black. The label also posted pre-sale orders for the new Snuffalbum, Demmamussabebonk.
Deathwish Inc. has repressed copies of Converge's No Heroes and You Fail Me. No word on how many there are, but both are listed as being available only in black. Buy them here.
Dashboard Confessional are celebrating the tenth anniversary of The Swiss Army Romance [re-issue] by releasing the album spread across five 7" records. You can preorder just the album here, or you can pay $200 and get a ticket to a show on their upcoming tour thrown in. Good deal, right?
Gilead Media has re-pressed mewithoutYou's [A->B] Life on clear yellow vinyl as well asCatch for Us the Foxes on clear red vinyl. Both are limited to 300 and can be purchased here.
Brick Gun Records has a new Dead To Me 7" available. Wait For It…Wait For It contains three new songs from the band. You can order it from the here, or if you want it on orange (/100) you can place an order from Solidarity Recordings. Brick Gun also has pre-orders up for a split 7" between Oleholeand Tigon.
Panic Records has posted a pre-order for the Cold All Over Again 7" from Casting Curses. You can pick it up here The Flatliners are great. They also recently released a three-song 7" single featuring the single 'Monumental' which comes with two new songs. Buy it here.
Robotic Empire is repressing the vinyl version of Oceanic from Isis. It's been out of print for a while. Soon it won't be.
No Idea Records is keeping busy. They've got releases on the way, or recently made available, including Here is no Exit from The Holy Mountain. Whisky & Co are back with a new album. Rust Colors. It was printed on 200 copies of red/gold vinyl. The label released 300 copies of Orphan Works from Samiam. The 2xLP is limited to 300 copies on black and white split vinyl.
Asian Man Records has reissued Smoking Popes' Get Fired. This version of the band's debut album features new versions of two songs and regular versions of seven more.
Envy's new album, Recitation is being released by Temporary Residence as a 2xLP.
Dropout from the Riptides is seeing its first vinyl release through Rally Records. The album is limited to just 300 copies with 100 on white with red splatter and 200 on clear red vinyl.
Paper & Plastick have put up pre-orders for End Measured Mile from Make Do and Mend as well as the 12" single for Bomb the Music Industry!'s Everybody That You Love. They also expect to ship orders for Ups and Downsizing by The Swellers this week. Touche Amore and Make Do and Mend have gotten together to release a split 7" through 6131 Records. Each band has offered up two songs for the release.
National are releasing a 7" with an alternate version of 'Terrible Love' as well as a b-side titled 'You Were A Kindness.'
Polyvinyl is gearing to release a new 7" from japandriods featuring 'Heavenward Grand Prix' as the title-track and a b-side of 'Shame', originally done by PJ Harvey.
All-American Rejects' 2008 album When The World Comes Down will finally be seeing a vinyl release courtesy of Magic Bullet Records.
