Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, The Nightwatchman and Street Sweeper Social Club will be publishing a new comic book series titled Orchid. According to the summary provided by publisher Dark Horse, the series features an eponymous teenage prostitute living in a dystopian future. Morello described the character as "the Spartacus of the Whores." during Comic-Con.

The first issue of the series is due out October 12th, 2011. Each issue will coincide with the release of a new song from Morello and the first issue will feature a variant cover from Shepard Fairey. You can check out an animated trailer for the series here.
